The current situation in Myanmar
You will have heard and seen the news about Myanmar.
As Helping The Burmese Delta, we have three prime concerns:
- To ensure that our staff and students are safe
- To ensure that our funds are protected, and can be used as intended
- To pursue our plans to keep our High School students learning
Our operations are almost all in the deep rural areas, which are unlikely to be affected by any unrest.
At the moment all schools are still closed due to COVID-19. As soon as it is permitted, we will reopen, but clearly this is not likely for some time.
